Since 2018, data have been calculated from an administrative source (Public Revenue Office and Employment Agency of the Republic of North Macedonia).
The index shows the ratio of the average wage in the current semester to the immediately preceding semester (previous semester = 100). For the 1st semester of 2020, the index is calculated in relation to the 2nd semester of 2019, which is used only as a calculation base and is not shown in the series.
