Total energy consumption in TJ (NCV) is calculated by aggregating the converted energy products as follows: -electricity is converted from GWh to TJ (NCV) using a constant coefficient of 3.6; -natural gas is converted from TJ (GCV) to TJ (NCV) using a constant coefficient of 0.9; -oil and petroleum products, as well as solid fossil fuels, are converted from kt to TJ (NCV) using the appropriate net calorific value for the reference year.
